EDIT: It definitely got better.
EDIT of the EDIT: OMG how could I forget Mr. Bean?!?! LOVED it
Highlights:
- David Beckham...*fans self* that is one sexy man!!
- The chick for the Benny and June thing has the most perfect curls ever.
- Denmark, the land of the blondes had some FINE men. *drools*
- The Egyptians were so excited, totally endearing!
- Mr. Fiji. OMG that man is sexy
- Ms. France was stunning.
- Germany was interesting with the choice in outfits. Men wore blue, Women wore pink. How original.
- Netherlands had some fine men too.
- The NIGERIANS!!!! The had the best intro period. All dancing in sync. Gorgeous outfits. Loved it.
- Ms. Qatar was another stunning woman. The looked very black but not really. Interesting.
- Ms. Sierra Leone had a nice do, pinned on one side fro. Topped it off with some bangin silver hoops!
- Tuvalu had an interesting story. They received a URL with .tv and decided to sell the domain to some Californian internet moguls for a profit of $50 million! How smart are they?!
- The US had an amazing representation of 529 athletes! Always with a controversy, our outfits were made by Ralph Lauren, sell for over $1,000 and were made in CHINA. WTF! But it was nice to see our fellow countrymen all in support of each other. This tweet killed me though " America's outfits show we have no identity. We got on Scottish kilts, British jackets, French Berets and German scarves. *faints*". It is so true though. No identity at all.
- Great Britain. Not sure what they were wearing. They were all so excited and seriously looked wasted lol.
- The lead singer of Arctic Monkey's looked just like Johnny Depp in Crybaby!
- And the final spectacle of the night with Sir Paul McCartney was pretty awesome with all the fireworks. Everyone singing along to "Hey Jude".
- The Queen cracked me up. Never really smiled or seemed to have a good time. Her one line to open the olympic games was hysterical. We waited hours for that!
- Finally the recap was amazing, plus they showed sexy Mr. Fiji again lol.
